Do women get bitter and angry as they age?

Some do end up bitter. They realize that the man (or boy) they spent all their time trying to please really didn't love them and they feel like they wasted all their time. That's why it's important to concentrate on yourself when you're young instead of claiming that you love someone you barely know and end up, as you say, a bitter old hag.
