Why do Christians "generalize" about my religion but when I ask a question about them, complain about me?

"generalizing" about theirs? They want to paint my religion with the broad brush of "generalization" but resent me doing the same to them? Their questions on Wicca and Witches are full of bad information and generalization. They see nothing wrong with this but cry fowl when others do it to them. Why? Their own holy book tells them to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" does it not?
