Has anyone ever experienced the Old Hag and The Hat Man before?

my cousin neil and my dad both had the same experience, they could move there legs but not there arms, and they were being held down, like in old hag, except it was by a shadow person, in my dads case it was just a normal shadow person that he thinks followed him from this suicide cave in japan, but in my cousins case it was the actual hat man, they both kicked the thing off, and both times it hit the wall with a thud and knocked stuff over before it just, disappeared
